Transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS) improves task performance following motor cortical stimulation and visual perceptual sensitivity following right inferior frontal cortical stimulation. However, the effects of tDCS on real world athletic performance in sports requiring extensive visual tracking skills have not been evaluated.
